DF95s and Ms this Sunday 25-10 at the Pat are cancelled due to low water levels. A few members are considering taking Ms to Tiranna Way, Westlakes to get a sail in.

The M State Titles were completed today in more near perfect conditions. The day commenced in a strong NE with C2s on all boats before everyone moved up rigs late in the day as the breeze shifted west and faded ahead of the forecast thunderstorms. Scott continued his good form from the previous day with Andrew Reid bouncing back to take second place. Brett was eventually pushed down to third. Thanks to all the volunteers and the strong interstate contingent which made this an excellent event despite the small local fleet.

The resail of the Bournville Trophy and first day of the M State Titles was sailed in near perfect conditions. The day started in a comfortable C rig westerly, but faded late in the day as competitors moved down to B and then A rig for the final race. The Grunges dominated early with Andrew Reid looking like he was going to run away with it. However Scott Condie and Brett Osborn were more consistent and ended up with the top two places with Paul Littledyke rounding out the podium. Special mentions go to our new Commodore, Neil How, who despite some teething issues finished strongly first time on the water. Also Tim Paynter for correctly choosing A rig after the break and comfortably winning a race. We continue again tomorrow chasing Scott, the clubhouse leader, in what is shaping up as an exciting final day of sailing. Thanks also to JB, Alan, Ian and Gully for keeping things running and the strong interstate contingent supporting the event.

For those who do not regularly check the club racing program please note that Sunday 27/9 is a programmed IOM club heat with 10:30 start time.

October sees in the start of daylight savings so race day start times will revert to afternoons with a 1PM start.

DF95's are scheduled for Sunday 4/10.

Marblehead State Championships will be the weekend after, 2 days at Harts Mill. Day 1 of this event will also be sailed for the Bourneville Trophy.

IOM Club Championship, 13 Sep 2026 results. Few races due to wind turning this way then that way and dropping to nothing.

DF95 club championship, 23 Aug 2026 results. With Simon away the fight for the top spots was tight! Race-wins to four boats, but Peter T proved too strong. A bit of w**d slowed down most boats at some point. Big thanks to Gully for coming down and scoring for us!

The 2026 IOM season resumed in a top-of-a-rig northerly with twelve boats. Strong bullets came through regularly as the wind trended west. The fleet started on A-rig and then went down to B-rig halfway through. We used the new starter box for the first time; very nice!

DC started the day with electrical gremlins while Kym developed some other kind of gremlin for his boat.
