This year we have decided to do a Friday night meal at the grounds for our upcoming encouragement campdraft, which will be held on the 2nd October. All proceeds from Friday night dinner will be going towards Team Connect USA.

Long time committee member and local Gin Warby is rallying behind her friend, Dame Catriona Williams, who is going to handcycle nearly 4828km across the USA, kicking off on the 30th December and finishing up on the 20th March 2027. The goal behind this extraordinary journey is to raise funds for vital spinal cord injury (SCI) research.

Glenmorgan Encouragement Campdraft
3-4 October 2026

As you may have already seen, the Glenmorgan Encouragement Campdraft is back on again this year, however it will be run by the same committee as the Snake Gully Cup.

We are currently looking for sponsors to help us run this event and would be truly appreciative of anyone who is able to come on board to support our event.

Each year, the generous businesses, families and individuals who support our Campdraft allow us to provide donations to much needed services, including LifeFlight, as well as upgrade our grounds for event attendees to enjoy.

Firstly, weโ€™d like to extend a huge thank you to all of our incredibly generous sponsors who supported our campdraft in April. Your contributions helped make the event a great success, and we truly appreciate your ongoing support of our community.

This year, with the Glenmorgan school taking a step back from hosting their annual campdraft, the Glenmorgan Campdraft Committee is excited to be holding a second campdraft for 2026, to be held on 3โ€“4 October.

And thatโ€™s a wrap! After a whopping 1300+ runs for the weekend, we are going to take a couple of days to finalise the last pieces of the weekend, but I just wanted to jump on and say a huge thank you on behalf of the Glenmorgan Campdraft Committee, to every single person who either got on a front gate, scored for the judge or in the secretary box, our superstar announcers Tom and Geoffro, our time keepers, back yard boys, mustering crews, truckers, judges, bar helpers, those that dropped in to check if they could help in any way, and last but not least, the Glenmorgan committee members who consistently show up where possible, to meetings, working bees and wherever theyโ€™re needed. If I have missed anyone on this list, please know that you havenโ€™t gone unnoticed and your help is immensely appreciated.

Payouts and refunds will be done in line with ACA requirements, but please bear with us while we finalise everything.

Finally, a thank you to those of who helped walk cattle away tonight, riding home in the dark. Here is a snapshot that one of our amazing committee members took, who also happens to be a cattle donor and Major sponsor for 2026.

We hope that everyone arrives home safely and hope that you all enjoy the Glenmorgan Snake Gully Cup Campdraft in 2026 as much as we enjoy hosting it.
