One of Tasmania's leading metropolitan race clubs, the Tasmanian Racing Club, runs approximately 23 race meetings each year. π Highlights on the racing calendar include the running of the Ladbrokes Hobart Cup Carnival in the summer months of January and February. The summer carnival attracts wide public, media and racing industry attention.
