Last weekend TEAM FAFC competed in both the Victorian BJJ and ShinKyokushin Victorian Championships.
Sensei Peter and myself were away for the weekend so unfortunately we couldnt attend either but we would like to thank all the instructors that went along and made sure all the competitors were looked after.

Today, TEAM FAFC competed in the IKON victorian championships held at Darebin Community and Sports Centre 
We had 8 fights to start the day. Unfortunately, both of Rafs fighters pulled out, so he didn't end up fighting.
Rianna landed wrong while she was fighting and unfortunately broke her ankle in 2 spots, which requires surgery, placing second
Indigo placed 3rd
Maya,Arvin,Simal Alex, and Patrick all placed 1st

Congratulations to everyone, and it was great to see Sensei Parrick back on the mats after 6 years. I'm sure we will see him at many more tournaments.
Keep training hard, and let's keep training for the next competition on the 26th of April.

Wow, what a big 2 weeks of karate gradings.
With almost 100 students grading over the 2 weeks from white belts to black belts, juniors, and seniors. I must say the quality was fantastic. Wear your new belts with pride, and let's make 2026 a bigger and a better year. OSU

9am doors open for a 10am start with over 100 competitors in the point- scoring divisions followed by over 100 competitors competing in the non-contact continuous divisions
2pm we have over 70 competitors competing in the contact Fight Offs.
