First Night of the Season is Here!!!!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Blacktown Little Athletics Tonight.

💚 Tonight is our Introduction Night for everyone to attend, meet your Age Managers & Age Groups, try your new events and welcome our new families in

We run a shorter program than usual, but please be patient across the night as the first couple weeks take a little longer.

🎤 Listen to our announcer for the night. They will tell you where to go and when.

📋 Rego Patches
If you haven’t collected them yet our Registrar will be available from 5:00pm to collect yours. Every athlete competing needs this seasons one.

👥 Parent Assistance
We run off volunteers and your Age Managers will also need some help each week. So please head out to assist at events, help rake a sand pit, collect a discus or pack things away.

Parents must stay on the Grounds the whole time.

🚦Watch when crossing the track. Kids & Parents make sure you look to your left when crossing our track.

FRIDAY NIGHTS EXPLAINED

New to Blacktown Little Athletics? Well we have put together a guide of what to expect for our normal Friday Nights

Our First Introduction Night is this Friday 11th September from 6:15pm

Our first Friday Night can be a little chaotic as new athletes & families, our Age Managers and volunteers learn and get used to the season, so please be patient.

🙋🙋‍♀️ To help us, athletics truly lives by the saying many hands make light work. So please put your hand up to assist Age Groups, Set Up & Pack Up equipment and wherever else needed. We rely on our families help to keep our nights running smoothly.

Want something fun do to on Synday 13th september Belmonte Italian Cuisine are having a Make Your Own Pizza Party Charity Event - Sunday, 13 Sept

At this event, you will get to make your own pizza, from rolling out the dough to topping it and then eating it, decorating your own ice cream sundae and taking home 2 cupcakes you also get to decorate.
Details:-
Time: 11.45am for a 12noon start
Cost: $40pp ($10 from each person donated to RMH & Ollie
Includes: Pizza, soft drink, ice cream sundae and 2 cupcakes
This is fun for the whole family, adults and kids alike. Even if you don't have kids, come and join us for a fun afternoon. Any questions, let me know

Our Last Pre-Season Rego Patch Collection is almost here!

We recommend attending our Pre-Season Collection days to avoid long queues on Friday Nights.

What patches will I receive?
When collecting your Rego Pack, you’ll receive:
🔢 Registration Number Patch (large)
🎂 Age Patch (small)

Why do athletes need patches?
With so many athletes competing on Friday nights, patches help our Age Managers and Officials quickly identify each athlete’s age group and Rego Number. This ensures results can be recorded accurately and efficiently.

How do I collect my patches?
📅 Rego Collection Night - Thursday 10 September, 6–8pm at Cornucopia Reserve

We recommend coming along to avoid lengthy lines on Friday night.

Please make sure patches are sewn or securely pinned onto uniforms as shown below. This makes our Age Managers’ and Officials’ jobs easier and helps keep Friday nights running smoothly! 🙌

We are powered by Volunteers and we need your help to ensure our season runs efficiently and smoothly.

Many hands make light work and there is a job for everyone to chip in and help.

Every week to ensure our Friday Night Runs smoothly we need assistance with:
🍳 Canteen & BBQ Helpers
🥏 Equipment Set Up & Pack Away
⏱️ Finish Line Timekeepers & Place Judges
👥 Age Manager Helpers - such as discus collection, long jump pit sweeper & race marshallers

Message us on how you can get involved or speak to our Committee Members at Rego Collection.

Parents are required to stay on the grounds during Friday Night Sessions so might as well get involved and close to the action.
