NOTICE OF AGM & PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT 🏉

Blacktown Rugby Union Football Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on:

📅 Saturday 17 October 2026
⏰ 6.30pm
📍 The Pavilion, Club Blacktown
40 Second Avenue, Blacktown

All members are encouraged to attend.

As part of the AGM, members are also formally advised of a proposed amendment to the Club Constitution.

The proposed amendment is to reduce the minimum quorum required for an AGM, Special General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting from 23 members to 15 members, reflecting the Club’s current membership base.

The following amendments are proposed:

Clause 9.3 – AGM
Current: “The quorum at an AGM shall be a minimum of twenty-three members.”
Proposed: “The quorum at an AGM shall be a minimum of fifteen members.”

Clause 10.5 – SGM
Current: “The quorum at an SGM shall be a minimum of twenty-three members.”
Proposed: “The quorum at an SGM shall be a minimum of fifteen members.”

Clause 11.3 – EGM
Current: “The quorum at an EGM shall be a minimum of twenty-three members.”
Proposed: “The quorum at an EGM shall be a minimum of fifteen members.”

The proposed amendments will be put to members for consideration at the AGM.

Blacktown Rugby Union Club is saddened to hear of the passing of former player Michael Paulo.

We send our sincere condolences to Michael’s family, friends and everyone who knew him. Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

We will share funeral details once they become available.
