My perimenopausal wife asked me 10 questions.

Riss: Have you finally learnt where the scissors are kept? If so, where?

Mitch: Yes. Either in the top drawer or the second drawer down.

Riss: And why is it that you still can't find them even though you know where to look?

Mitch: Cause you know how to find them better.

Riss: Are you sometimes scared of me? And if so, give me a scale of 1 to 10.

Mitch: I'm always scared of you. I'm just better at disguising it.

Riss: Scale of 1 to 10?

Mitch: Most days, at least a 5.

Riss: When I say I'm fine, do you believe me?

Mitch: No. You are not fine.

Riss: Have you learnt to answer my questions carefully for survival purposes?

Mitch: Yes.

Riss: Have you ever googled how long can perimenopause last?

Mitch: Yes.

Riss: Do my mood swings keep life exciting?

Mitch: They keep life interesting. I wouldn't say exciting.

Riss: How would you classify my sleep?

Mitch: How would I classify your sleep? I don't even know if we could call it sleep. It doesn't really exist.

Riss: Have you ever caught me secretly flipping you off behind your back?

Mitch: Thousand times. Literally the other day when I walked out the door, I turned around and you were flipping me the bird for no reason.

Riss: Last question. This is the most important one. Do you agree that you're the problem?

Mitch: Majority of the time, yes.

Riss: Correct answer.

Mitch: That's a loaded question. I was gonna say yes regardless.
