🏈 ANNOUNCEMENT | CONGRATULATIONS COACH TONGAKILO 🏈
Academy 49 would like to proudly congratulate our very own Coach Länce Töngakilo on being appointed as the Junior Head Coach of the newly formed South Brisbane Saints American Football Club!
After a two-year break from coaching gridiron, Coach Tongakilo returns with renewed vision, sharpened purpose, and a fire to lead the next generation. Time away from the sidelines has allowed him to grow in wisdom and perspective—and now, he’s stepping into a new chapter in gridiron history, ready to inspire, mentor, and build a legacy.
We are beyond proud to see our coaches rise and lead in the community. This isn’t just a win for Coach Tongakilo—it’s a win for all the young athletes who will grow under his guidance.
Thank you to the supporting cast—the friends, family, mentors, and athletes who continue to walk this journey with us.
