So the live we put up last night was reported that many times it was removed by FB 😂😂
How angry do you have to be with the truth that you have to report a live that many times 😴.

And Emily as secretary. We don’t know you guys personally but we wish you nothing but the best and hope yous do great things for Parkwood Sharks Rugby League Club.

Let me strongly reiterate, we did not care who won all we wanted was what was best for Sharkies moving forward. Now obviously as you all know things took an ugly turn at the AGM.
After the names were announced a “couple” took it upon themselves to clap in OUR children s faces and say “ goodbye thieves” “see you later bastards”.
How mature, how grown what a great example of character that will now be leading this club.

Things escalated and our Children stuck up for themselves and their club! No punches were thrown no laws were broken, but that’s not the narrative you will be fed. No instead you will see a video go around that will portray our kids as being violent and unruly. I strongly suggest that when you see this video report it as it is now a matter for the police as this person recording was recording MINORS! we were NOT the instigators in this situation. Our children were abused by grown ass adults. They were taunted and as soon as they stuck up for themselves everyone stood around and blamed them. Well done peeps 👍

To our governing body- When will you take accountability for the mess that has been caused this past month? When will the FEMALE volunteers of this clubs voices be heard? When will you stop targeting US and start taking a look at the horses you backed?
Why is this in part your fault? Because you lead a bias investigation. Not once were PFD or ABC contacted to speak on these claims. Not once was the Tauti Epa or Ruawhare families contacted to ask or even have a chance to refute these allegations. We’re was due process? All yous had to say last night was this is the wrong time to do things. But when is the right time? The subsequent meetings after the emergency meeting were apparently the wrong times. The countless emails and phone calls were apparently the wrong times. The open invitation to have a sit down at anytime was apparently the wrong time. So we ask you, when is the right time? How is it right to read out these “findings” that are defamatory? How is it right that yous made your mind up before actually investigating. How is it right the new President Vice President and secretary are all from the same team? How is it right that the horses yous backed have openly spread defamatory and viscous rumours on social media? How is it right for them to not be held to the same standards you held PFD to and charged and suspended them for breaching the code of conduct? Is this the system you want us to buy into? Well done 👏🏽👏🏽

To our loyal supporters, Thank you for trusting us with your child’s development. Thank you for supporting our vision of equality. Thank you for helping us grow a safe and judgement free zone at Parkwood. It has been a pleasure to serve yous and an honour to be apart of your child’s journey.

So to that PFD , are hanging up our Sharkies jerseys and we say Good Bye to Parkwood Sharks.

What’s good PFD!
Just an update on where we are at……
As you know already we were summoned to a hearing in relation to the live video we posted. The result of the hearing was that we were found guilty of breaching the social media rule. All 3 of us were given suspended sentences 🙄 that would be invoked if we didn’t comply with 2 clauses
#1 Remove the video
#2 write an apology to our members and stakeholders before the due date.

We removed the video and wrote an apology.
The apology was sent back and needed to be amended as we forgot to include A stakeholder They gave us 2 days to get it in by close of business Friday.
Well as you know we are VOLUNTEERS!! We are Mothers we have Fulltime JOBS. We are not paid to man the Parkwood Ladies email account. And as such we missed the deadline. Once we realised what had happened which was 8am Monday morning we sent off the amendment at 8:30am before business opens. This has obviously resulted in us not “adhering” to the outlined clauses and our suspensions have now been invoked. So what does that mean? For us that means we can not hold a role but it also means we are now NO longer bound by any social media rule😄 so get ready for another live video peeps 😉

It has been a long hard road with injuries, minimal numbers, players pulling out, washouts and more. But against all the odds our newly formed open reserve grade side have braved these conditions till the very end and the commitment has payed off. Our role models of PFD have pathed the way for our little ones and shown us, through commitment and hard work they earned a place in next weeks Grand Final!!!

Ladies we could not be more prouder! Your resilience is remarkable and your attitude to get it done no matter what is amazing. We will all be there to watch you make history. Give it all you got, leave nothing in the tank and wear that Sharkie with pride!

Our baby Sharks at Mudgeeraba Redbacks today playing in the Karina Brown gala day challenge. Come down and support the girls and have a great day watching some girls footy 👌🏽

Our U12 Girls have a busy weekend, kicking off Saturday at 4pm with a curtain raiser for the Open Women's match vs the Nerang Roosters at Nerang.

Sunday they head to Mudgeeraba Redbacks, for the first of 3 Gala Days!
