The time is approaching when our precious musical instruments will be designed again to hold the “harmony frequency”: 432HZ.

Years ago I found out from my piano tuner that you can not just tune to the harmony frequency when the instrument itself is built to an other.. it’s the tensility force that can or can not withstand tightening.. with the end result being too lose or crushing tight..

Fascinating right?
And the lengths in art, medicine, education and all sorts of deceptive governing.. that they engaged in to take Humanity off course, disoriented..

🎵 Yesterday we had our wonderful end of year recital..
With soo many heart-felt, emotional moments..

🎵 Thanking for some dedicated busy bee 🐝 mums, we now have some pictures and videos commemorating this year.. 🙏🌟

🎶 Added specialness: this year is my 30-th teaching the piano in Australia..
surreal and extremely satisfying..

🎁 Hundreds and hundreds of meaningful student and family connections later, we had ups, downs, amazing results, little ones turned into young adults, some are even chose the path of professional musicians, some stepped away to discover other things, instruments, sports, chess, outdoor skills or art, some just to return the second time around.. even after years away from the piano..

🎵 Yesterday it was SO heart-warming to see this day and age not one but several family duos playing!
I guess this IS the epitomy of my JOY..

🎹 I shared with those parents, grandparents and kids yesterday who came, (usually about 2/3 of our school community), what stands out the most to me, reflecting on these past 30 years..
and that is:

🎶 to let students be unique, no squeezing them into cookie cutters.. , to ask them how was their day, how are they feeling, are they thirsty after a frantic day in school..
Just really the basics.. and never compare them.. learn together with and from their PERSONAL pace..

🙌 Praise them when warranted, not for perfection, always for focus, patience and effort.. for giving things a go..
encourage them to go for things.. don’t hurry them.. those who come from stressful family lives - and who doesn’t nowadays especially?
. the last thing they need is hurrying them without SEEING them..
praise effort, wanting to do well but not out of fear for wanting to be seen and wanting to be accepted..
but for measuring their own limits.., flexing their magical little muscles..

I am most grateful to work with incredible families.. who do, yes, become family extensions .. sometimes for more than 10 years in a row..

My heart is full!

The most viral experience we have is with nature. In a time where we are measured by algorithms, numeric conversions, and the personas we display online, nature reminds us of a wealth that goes beyond technology—one where the Earth’s living systems are the most ancient intelligence we know, and have much for us to remember. One example of this is the incredible collaboration that occurs between birds, trees, and plants within an ecosystem. There is no metric of competition between these species, yet their existence simply helps one another live better—more fully. And there are now studies and theories in place regarding the effect of birdsong on plant and tree growth. In these observations, it is noted that the birdsong is a form of stress relief for plants, allowing for the stomata (pores) to open, thus improving the ability to absorb water and nutrients. How fascinating is it that the vibration of the bird’s melody helps the trees and plants grow with more vitality? What this reminds us is that nature is not an isolated system. Every single species within it holds a crucial role within the ecosystem—and we are included in this dance. Much of our illnesses can be attributed to the isolation we are exposed to on a daily basis—whether it’s behind the phone, desk, or steering wheel— a large portion of our time is spent disconnected from the very nature that nurtures us back to health. Let nature be the most viral piece of content you engage with today. Step outside, breathe with the trees, and let the birdsong open up your capacity for growth just as they do for the plants. When we put ourselves back into the woven care of nature, we expand our capacity for engaging with natural systems, one another, and ourselves in incredible ways—a dance where we are no longer the species isolated from its own home, but deeply entwined. I only started working on this invaluable tool last year after discovering it and by now more than half of my physical school is a platform user. I can say the most cost effective is the year subscription that allows you to practise 24/7 for 365 days.

Our job as teachers now includes to explain that having say 26.000 (!) songs on the library at no extra cost, - your copyright is included in your subscription fees (!) I know, this itself takes a while to take in.. :-) - does not mean we will aim to learn every song, I now started to explain that learning the "conventional way" normally involves perhaps 2-3 book per year (!) say 10-20 songs at an average difficulty level.. so here we need to "keep ticking" patiently with our progress - yet that will still be much faster due to the far greater exposure to learning!
