Winter Dance Workshop – Information for Parents
Join us for a magical day of dance, creativity, and fun at our Winter Dance Workshop for dancers aged 4–8 years.
Cost: $100 per dancer
What to Bring:
• Water bottle
• Lunch (please ensure it is allergy-friendly)
• Ballet-themed outfit or costume (dress-up is encouraged!)
What the Day Will Include:
🩰 Ballet class
✨ Jazz class
🎨 Arts and crafts
🎲 Dance-themed games and activities
The workshop is designed to inspire young dancers, build confidence, encourage creativity, and foster a love of dance in a fun and supportive environment.
Each dancer will receive a Ballet Certificate of Completion at the end of the day to celebrate their participation.

• Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm Sign starts at 8:45am
• Location: ADE Studios
• Cost: $100
The day will be run by Miss Helana and Miss Layla, who are looking forward to sharing a wonderful day of dance with your little ballerinas.

We are so incredibly proud to announce that our dancers have made it to Stage 3 the World Ballet Crown National Finals in Sydney this August! 🩰👑

From Stage 1 video auditions, through the State Finals, and now to the National Finals stage what a journey it has been. These dancers have shown heart, dedication and artistry every single step of the way.

The musical theatre world is often misunderstood by our ballerinas in training.

There’s a common perception that commercial dancers dominate casting opportunities, but in reality, the industry is consistently seeking classically trained dancers. Strong ballet technique remains one of the most valuable foundations in professional performance providing precision, control, musicality, and artistry that directors actively look for in auditions.

However, the dancers who are consistently booked are not only technically strong, but versatile.

Many ballet-focused students are exactly what the industry is searching for, yet the transition into singing and acting training can sometimes feel unfamiliar or intimidating. In some cases, musical theatre training is perceived as being outside a purely classical pathway, when in fact it is a direct extension of professional employability.

Today’s performance industry demands adaptability. Ballet-trained dancers who also develop vocal and performance skills open themselves to opportunities across musical theatre, cruise contracts, commercial work, film, and live entertainment.

That’s why our Full Time dancers are attending Singing this term 🎶 Alongside performance development, singing also teaches breath control an essential tool for managing nerves, regulating the body, and supporting calm, confident stage presence.

Growth in this industry doesn’t mean stepping away from classical training it means expanding it into opportunity.

Junior Hair & Makeup Workshop 💄✨

Saturday 9th May
1:15–2:00 PM

Cost: $5

A relaxed session for our junior dance mums to learn stage hair and makeup tips for concert and competitions. Miss Layla will be demonstrating hairstyles and makeup techniques throughout the workshop for parents to watch and learn.

Children are not necessary to attend, however they are more than welcome to come along 🤍

Cheese and wine provided for parents 🍷
