And to be honest I wanted to vomit in my mouth.

I need you to hear this because I know I’m not alone. You see, even though I have done so much work on my deepest fear, which is abandonment by the way (my mum left me as a baby - more on this inside Lighthouse, because it’s a lot) I have still allowed this fear to feed the people pleaser in me. People pleasing Dante still shows up (until now 🫣)

Now most people would describe people pleasing as saying yes to everything + everyone and having poor personal boundaries, but this description couldn’t be further from the truth for me 😆 I LOVE saying no, and I have rock solid boundaries - BUT for me people pleasing shows up as playing small, just holding back the last 10% incase (and here’s my deepest fear in words) I do something that makes people un-love me 🥺

And you know what I’ve hated the most about holding back? Firstly, that last 10% of me is suck a f^*king vibe and I absolutely adore it, but also, holding that part of me back is a form of manipulation. I’m manipulating you into seeing a version of me that is easier to digest. The version of me you know, isn’t my absolute truth, it’s a bit watered down, diluted just enough to make sure you’ll still love me.

Guess what? No more.

Something was activated in me when I sat in front of that camera last week - the drop in was loud and clear, and as I tried to not vomit 😆 I allowed the last 10% to arrive.

And this time, I am willing for you, for people, for anyone, to un-love me a little bit because deep down in my heart, I know you actually won’t, and I know what’s coming is EXACTLY what you (and I) need.

Let this be your permission slip to stop tip toeing around your truth, your fully expressed version and allow yourself to be FULLY SEEN, not 80%, not 90% … go full f^*king in.

LIGHTHOUSE - the shining light in the distance to guide you, and to keep you on course when you’re faced with wild weather. The problem is you’ve been looking in the wrong places. The lighthouse is not me, or anyone else around you - the lighthouse is you.
You are your own god dam lighthouse.

How much truth are you willing to handle?
Have you forgotten the point of life?
Are you walking around without your lights switched on, in darkness stumbling through the day.
Have you got everything you thought would make you happy, and you’re still not?

I was sick and tired of being the person I was, triggered, stuck and full of blame.
I didn’t want to make my kids carry around my s**t and I knew if I didn’t do something about it, they’d have to.
I didn’t want my amazing husband to know ‘that’ version anymore, I wanted him to meet the woman I knew I could be.
I just wanted to be f*^king happy.
To know myself - deeply.
To heal, to be heard, to speak up.

It felt impossible. Until it didn’t. Then everything changed.

I started being her, before I was her.

It’s no longer about what you’ve been through. It’s no longer about what happened to you. It’s no longer about last year, last month, yesterday. Now it’s about what you do NEXT.

Welcome to the messy, beautiful, empowering, humbling, scary, kick ass world of self discovery … here’s what I’ve learnt so far about what it means to take radical responsibility.

1. Not everyone will understand you. That’s ok, you don’t need them to.

2. People will be offended by your truth. They’ll be fine.

3. You will cry - a lot. You’ll be fine.

4. You will experience death and rebirth. Over and over.

5. You will meet parts of yourself you’re not proud of and you’ll fall deeply in love with them.

6. You are the only one to write your own story, so go do that.

7. Blame and radical responsibility can not exist at the same time.

8. Radical responsibility is not for everyone, so stop expecting people to validate your evolution. Just do you.

9. People in your life may know a different version of you than the current one, so be patient while they catch up.

10. The rejection was always just a powerful redirection.

🔥 which one resonates the most right now?

You’ll know it’s your calling when it’s harder to deny it, than it is to follow it.

If you’ve ever tried to ignore that deep, soul level desire, you’ll know what I’m talking about. It eventually becomes harder to ignore it than it does to make it happen.

Here’s your Friday reminder that this is it, this is your one go, your one life. You are your purpose, being you is your purpose, your calling is to find YOU. That’s it.

I’m writing this from the beach, on a Friday afternoon as I lay in the sand with my husband beside me, sunshine in my eyeballs, ocean in my ears and a heart full of gratitude.

I just received the most beautiful message from a past client who is currently enjoying the kind of Friday that many only ever dream about - one filled with freedom! Freedom to spend it doing whatever she desires, with no restraints, just FREEDOM and she messaged me to say thank you.

These last few months have been super emotional for me, it’s like my nervous system has only just caught up to the impact that my work is having, and even though it’s fully purpose driven, I sometimes get teary at the very fact that it is my purpose. It’s how I live in my purpose, the fact that I was even able to find my purpose - far out, the tears.

Sometimes I wonder how on earth have I been gifted this work? I will never ever not be grateful that I get to live my purpose by helping others find theirs.

And the more I anchor in to what the next few months & years look like not just in biz but in life (for me they are very much one and the same), I know more deeply than ever - first and foremost I am here to help YOU come to life in every aspect, to wake you up to the possibilities, to inspire you into your fullest expression … because when you do that, the business, the relationship, the house, the money, the babies, they all take care of themselves.
