Every pet owner — farm or suburban — should think about what’s in their animal emergency kit. 🐾
Last night gave me a bloody good reminder of how quickly
“something’s not right” can happen.
My boy suddenly wasn’t himself — restless, licking his lips, drooling and wanting to be right beside me.
And when you know your dog,
you KNOW when something is off.
Activated charcoal can be incredibly useful for certain toxin exposures, when a vet advises it’s appropriate, and it’s something worth asking your vet about having in your emergency kit.
Thankfully, my boy is okay. 🖤
Thank God for that — and for having a few useful remedies on hand when they’re actually appropriate. 🌿🐾
Know your dog.
Trust when something feels different. And have an emergency plan before you need one.

We had a spontaneous day out at Putt Putt Mermaid Beach, where Kaitlyn's incredible hand-eye coordination shined—she scored three holes in one! With her vivid imagination, passion for animals, and a keen sense of adventure like Dora the Explorer, walking through the jungle-themed course was a breeze.

A picture truly does say 1,000 words.
Walks in nature is scientifically proven to reduce the amount of EMF’s (Electromagnetic Field) accumulated in the body which can cause:
- Fatigue
- Decreased learning ability
- Cognitive impairment
- Weakened immune system
- Mood disorders
- Anger
The human body therefore should be protected against exposure to EMFs.
How you can safe guard yourself:
- Not keeping devices near you when you sleep
- Use the speaker when talking on your cellphone
- Take your shoes off and walk on the grass
Effects on children, including neurocognitive development and behavioural problems.
Bottom line
Electromagnetic fields are everywhere but that doesn’t mean you can’t significantly reduce your exposure and help your body best manage the positive ions that are around you. Both natural practices and lifestyle changes can help protect you against this harmful type of radiation.

Sauna:
Mimics physiological and protective responses induced during exercise.
Repeated sauna use optimizes stress responses via hormesis (an adaptive response of cells and organisms to a moderate stress) and heat shock proteins.
Frequent sauna use may protect against cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disease.
Sauna use provides a means of preserving muscle mass and countering sarcopenia.
This exposure elicits mild hyperthermia, an increase in the body's core temperature that induces a thermoregulatory response involving neuroendocrine, cardiovascular, and cytoprotective mechanisms that participate in restoring homeostasis and conditioning the body for future stressors
Interestingly, many of the physiological responses to sauna use are remarkably similar to those experienced during moderate- to vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise, and sauna use has been proposed as an alternative to aerobic exercise for people who are unable to engage in physical activity due to chronic disease or physical limitations
Swimming:
The buoyancy of the water decreases the stress and force on the body and joints, offering a workout that is gentler on the physical body but with a greater aerobic impact.
