🔥 Unity Cup 2025 – What. A. Start! 🔥

8848 CC began their Unity Cup 2025 campaign with a dominant 8-wicket victory over Gorkha Panthers in the first T20 match.

Batting first, Gorkha Panthers posted a competitive total of 160 for 4 in 20 overs, led by Prerak’s explosive 64 runs off 34 balls and Arpit ’s steady 48 off 45. For 8848 CC, Amrit Yonjan was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets for 33 runs, while Kiran (1/4) and Santosh Pathak (1/6) kept things tight in their spells.

In reply, 8848 CC chased down the target in just 15.3 overs, finishing at 163 for 2. Suman Thapa starred with a brilliant unbeaten 63 runs from 39 balls and was rightly named 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡. He was well supported by Amrit Yonjan, who scored an aggressive 53 off 34 balls, and Ramesh Subedi, who remained not out on 19 from 16 balls.

Kishor Tiwari led the bowling unit with control, conceding only 15 runs in 4 overs, while the team displayed a complete performance in all departments. With this convincing win, 8848 CC has made a strong statement to kick off their Unity Cup 2025 campaign in style. 💪🏏
