10 years ago I went on a date...

And life has never been the same.

10 years ago, I decided at 20 years old that I wanted to get dinner with a man who was just shy 10 years older then me with two kids...(it's funny now)

But that decision lead to so much love, so so so much love in my life.

I was gifted with not just loving one person in this relationship but three.

The girls were turning 8 and 10 and I fell in love just as quick.

Over the 10 years, we finished our family with our little bug but also went through a lot of chapters.

A lot of chapters that required a lot of love and patience (more me than Matt tbh)

Over the 10 years, we've shredded identities over and over again, supported each other's individual celebrations and our families including our children as they've grown and evolved.

It's really hard to put into words what this last 10 years have meant to be because it's been everything.

Not always easy but not always hard.
Not always fun but the most fun I've ever had.
Not always love during chapters but love you cannot explain.
Not always knowing but knowing that somehow we'll grow old and grey together.

Through it all, we've had each other.

There's been no doubt about that and for that, I love you.

Thank you for this life that is so much more than I ever thought possible.
Thank you for allowing me to love our children the way my heart wants.
Thank you for loving me through it all.

This chapter has been beautiful for all that it's given us and here's to the next 10 years ❤️

Ten days to decide that you get to be put first, after putting everyone else first for years.

If you're the one who holds it all together while quietly trying to hold yourself too, I see you.

You understand yourself deeply. But understanding hasn't been enough to make you feel different in your body.

That's what Surrender is for. Four days on the Sunshine Coast, October 15 to 18, all-inclusive, built for the kind of depth a weekend of talking never reaches.

This is the last one for this chapter, at least for 2 years.

Not the person that just handles it all.

You'll notice that I don't market towards "Mum's or parents, partners"

I market for the woman behind it all.

The joy, the funny, the loving and caring but also the real woman.

I built Surrender so women don't have to show up as the roles and responsibilities but as themselves (whoever that may be).

To give them space to find themselves, to heal parts of themselves they haven't had the time or space too.

We have created an environment where you can learn to let your walls down...not just to let people in but also for you to start recognising who you are.

We have a few spots left for our last Surrender Retrear for the next two years.

Regulating your system isn't just about calming it.

I love breathwork and I also love other ways to regulate myself.

Regulation isn't just about feeling calm but also bringing safety back to your system.

Letting people in.
Connecting with your people.
Feeling your feelings (sorry avoidants, we love you)
Fuelling your body.
Exercise and movement

Actually living your life and not managing it.

This is the work I do with women and I love it because they go from just survival mode to actually enjoying their lives.

Crazy what putting time and effort into you does...

There's a huge difference in who I was three years ago versus now.

I believed everything was my fault, that I was the reason things didn't go well and that my anxiety would never calm down.

I was in pain but I wanted more for my life.

I knew that it wasn't an overnight fix and honestly, deep down I knew that I deserved to put time and effort into myself.

I'm not here for short term healing, the quick fix or "always be happy."

I'm here for the human and what you need to start living your life again.

I'm proud of the woman who decided to do the long haul, the hard days and meeting the depths without forcing it.

I'm taking 3 x 1:1 clients on for the rest of the year.
