If you're after a great picnic / BBQ area you've got to take a look at Bim Bimba Park at Pimpama. Such a great location for a birthday party for the kids. Half basketball court, a massive climbing tower, separate playgrounds, skate area, large grassed areas for a kick of the footy. Mecca's and Woolworths close by.

Went for nice drive out to Canungra and Springbrook this week.
Canungra Vineyard is great for the kids now, loving the Alpacas and the natural setting, unfortunately the food just isn't the same there anymore. Fast food served in paper boxes rather than the lovely fine dining atmosphere on the deck. But still a nice day out.

Emerald Lakes tonight, so pretty.

The 4km loop around Emerald Lakes is so lovely. Especially on a Thursday evening when you finish in the township for their foodie market 😅

Looking for a delicious morning tea or lunch. Head to Pasture & Co at the Eco Village Currumbin. Then stroll the grounds and visit the kangaroos to walk it all off 🤣

I was treated by my daughter to a beautiful surprise picnic at O'Reillys Vinyard today. Such a relaxing way to spend a few hours and only a 45min drive from home. The picnic basket for two was delicious and we also treated ourselves to the Alpaca experience.

A quick after work stroll along Cheltenham Drive to Lone Pine Park to give Buddy an off leash run. It's not a big area but he appreciated the run. Then onto Robina Parkway for a quick few kilometres. Walking by myself with the dog I prefer nicely lit up and busy roads for my walk at that time of day. One thing I find about alot of nearby parks is the lack of lighting.

Robina locals, the little cygnets have hatched 😁 Opposite the library on the river walk, Arthur and Elisabeth have had 6 cygnets hatch.

Today's 8km walk I took the City Parklands walk towards the Cbus stadium. The parklands havnt finished yet but once it is it'll be a fabulous walk. From Cbus I took the bridge behind cbus to behind the hospital and over to the back of Robina High. Then over to the River Riverwalk to check out the cygnets 😀

Emerald Lakes Parklands! A perfect day for a stroll around the lake. A cruisy 3km with plenty to see and do. Playground for the kids, fossicking on the shoreline, throw a line in, watch the remote control boats, or grab a coffee in the Town centre. Dogs on lead at all times, no public toilets that I could see. Nice area for a picnic and stroll on a sunny winter day.

I had a lovely 6km stroll around the Robina River today, hoping to see Elizabeth and Arthur's cygnets. Still no babies, shouldn't be long now though.
