PAN PACIFIC MASTERS GAMES = Is an event for the 30+ age group and is on every 2 years. 2024 is the year to compete. We specialise in training the Athletics event.

The Reich Method is all you need to dial in on your goals and get started.

RUN CLUB AUSTRALIA ONLY: Run Club in Toowoomba, Qld.

WHAT: Run Club for all. Beginners to National standard are welcome
WHERE: O'Quinn Oval (corner of O'Quinn Street and Fifth Ave, Toowoomba, Qld)
DAYS: Tuesday and Thursday
TIMES: 6:00am to 7:00am (winter times in private Facebook group)
COST: $5 per person, per session

WHAT IS "RACE TACTICS":
* Learn how to surge (timing)
* How to maintain a good pace to complete any distance
* Best time to overtake someone
* How to hold your position while surrounded by other runners
* How to keep your pace and increase speed (this one is hard to do)
* How to get in a good position early

WHO IS THIS FOR: Anyone from beginner (no idea, never run) to National standard of runner.

YES: You can be returning from injury, surgery, babies, straight from the couch, or a rock star runner.

RUNNING TECHNIQUE CORRECTIONS

FIRSTLY: We as coaches must give our runners a break. Only work on one thing at a time.

This young fella is in arm "bootcamp".

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM:
😀 Arms are flat out or too far behind him.
😃 His arms and legs have a different rhythm.

HOW TO FIX THIS:
😄 Bootcamp = I take his "arms off him".
😆 He will be doing heaps or drills that will give him "dead arms" or "heavy arms"
😁 I'm a massive fan of a soccer ball at the chest. He needs to be mindeful of the ball remaining in the front amd centre of the body. Arms tucked back and he needs to try and not have them move.
🙃 I also like "zombie arms". Arms out in front and not bouncing up and down.
😉 When the runner has had enough, change the drill. There is no need to fry him. That's not fun.
😀 Metronome and rhythm sets.
