Don't forget we have a session scheduled for today for anyone who wants to come down and check it out/have some fun! Hope to see as many of you on the AFL field as possible at 3pm!
We hope everyone is surviving week 8 blues... But if you need a bit of a break from hitting the books come down to the AFL Field this Sunday at 3pm for a fun afternoon of softball, maybe some sneaky bevvies & a chance to meet other members of our awesome club!
We hope to see as many of you there as possible!
P.S. you don't need to have any experience or equipment, we will provide that!

Unfortunately due to the weather we will need to reschedule the session today! We're very sorry for everyone who was planning on coming down but we'll keep you all posted about a make up session soon!

Social 7’s Intervarsity Competition –
What is it? A one day competition between Queensland university students
When? Friday 8th April, 12pm
Where? Brisbane
Cost? Free, registration closes Tuesday 1st March - if you are interested in this event, please contact us immediately.
Team Training & Play –
What is it? Weekly training and play session for students
When? Sunday 13th + Sunday 20th March, 3pm onwards
Where? Bond University Rugby Field
Cost? Free
Scratch Competition against Griffith University –
What is it? A one night competition against Griffith University students
When? Wednesday 23rd March, 4-6pm (to be confirmed)

We are pleased to announce that Bond University will be fielding a Women's Softball team for the upcoming Australian Uni Games to be held on the Gold Coast at the start of Semester 3.
Whether you have played all your life or you are looking to try something new at uni, this is the sport for you. For a week full of fun and games let softball be your first time or your return to the uni games/sporting scene.
This page has been created to get the word out and give the women of Bond the opportunity to spend a fun filled week of sport and partying with fellow uni students from around Australia on our home ground right here on the Gold Coast.
A minimum of 10 girls is needed to register the team and we can have up to 13 to compete throughout the week. We will have a number of training sessions and trials leading up to uni games week (27th September - 2nd October) and this can be organised based around the availability of students and our super coach, Dianne Bear. We will be looking to have these sessions in the evenings under lights or on a weekend if needed.
Di is an ex-Australian softball representative who is available to help coach and select our team.
Please share the page among friends as we are looking to have the team registered by the end of semester 152, to be ready for sem 153. With exams closing in we are hoping to have most things organised as soon as possible.
