Thankyou to the lovely families of who generously donated to our teachers and assistant gifts which were presented prior to the start of the concert this year.

We are lucky to have such kind and thoughtful families as part of our community at ADS and we love especially reading all the little notes and cards.

We are also extremely proud of each of our Senior Students who give up time out of their week to voluntarily assist in younger classes. It enriches the training of our younger students and gives them a wonderful understand of patience and perseverance and we are proud of them for their extra commitment this year.

At the end of year 12 doesn’t have to mean the end of your dance journey with us. We love having our graduated students join in on classes and keeping fit and healthy enjoying something that they have loved for so long.

But what it does symbolise is the end of a year of perseverance and resilience. While holding down jobs, even commuting to Brisbane for school, learning to drive (and park 😆), school exams, formals and everything that has made year 12 their hardest year, these 5 people have handled it with grace and dedication.

Flynn worked professionally, they have started to take on professional auditions and environments, Nagissa and Ella showed amazing dedication to their Advanced 2 RAD exam with all the extra classes and training required all while they figure out what happens next for them individually. Whether it be uni, full time training, part time training, apprentiships.

We are proud of all of you, proud of what great role models you are and what a joy you are to have around.

I think they will agree that what we have to offer at was the mental and emotional relief that they will hold as a cherished memory moving forward.

Paving the way for those to come, just like those before them have done so well.

✨ Our Tiny Dancers Are Ready✨

Tomorrow is the day our littlest stars step onto the big stage, and we know that can feel a little scary when you’re small.

For some of them it will be their first time on a big stage like the Star and we strive to make it fun and enjoyable and create magic moments that will stay with them for a lifetime.

It’s the start of an amazing journey.

So cheer loud, they deserve it!
