Couple of JLC Athletes dominating over the weekend, starring in a couple of big wins. .wiesener scoring a crucial 58, his first for the year. Works hard every week to play more freely and trains with purpose.

Young Noah put in an impressive all round performance, scoring 26 not out and taking 2/2 off 5 overs. Noah had been struggling for confidence in recent times, but a session on Friday afternoon where we chatted about his mental approach when walking out on the field has made the world of difference for him. It’s a mental game 🧠 🏏

First holiday clinic at JLC has come to an end, and what a great two days we had. Very lucky to have two amazing groups of talented young boys and girls, who endured some hot weather and have everything they had. Massive thanks to our guest coaches Brad Munro and Samantha Smithers for giving up their time for these young cricketers, your insights and guidance are hugely appreciated by all involved. Thanks to the parents for getting these little superstars down for the day, can’t wait for the next one

Guest Coach Alert 🚨
After a successful first day, we have two new guest coaches joining us for our next session. Firstly, we have the reigning Kookaburra Cup 1st Grade Player of the Final Kevin Chapman. Kevin is one of the premier batsman in our competition and adds years of coaching experience to our team.
Secondly, we have the reigning QLD Premier Cricket T20 Player of the Final Brad Munro. Brad made the move to Dolphins this year and has forced his way into 1st Grade, playing a vital role in their charge to the finals. Get keen for tomorrow guys, this promises to be awesome!

JLC are proud to announce that our guest coach for tomorrow’s session is Samantha Smithers. Sam is a Gold Coast Dolphins 1st Grade player, who has recently represented the Southern Rockets in the Under 19’s Women’s BPL, and was also selected in the Southern Blaze Under 15’s team. She is an absolute superstar, we are very lucky to have someone of her calibre on board.

💯 Alert! Star JLCC athlete Marley posted his maiden ton today in the Under 12’s, off just 90 balls. I was lucky enough to be there to witness it, a day he will never forget.

JLCC athlete .wiesener with runs in the Open Juniors this week. Henry works incredibly hard to play the ball as late as he can and making sure his decision making is as good as it can be. 111 balls, not out, superstar.

Rising star Marley Goodwin dominating day one this week with 2/4 with the ball, followed up with a 34-ball 50*, his first ever half century. He trains harder than anyone else, and it shows. What are you doing to be the best?
