Congratulations to our BHL 2 team on making it through to the 2026 grand final, being held this Saturday when they take on Easts at the State Hockey Centre!

It's the first time in 11 years the team has gone this far — a real testament to the effort, commitment and team spirit shown all season. To everyone who's been part of the journey, well done.

We'd love to see as many people as possible come along on Saturday to cheer the team on. Best of luck boys!

Division 2 Women’s minor premiers Labrador Gold continued on their winning ways. After an impressive season losing just one game the ladies took on Burleigh in lunchtime heat. In what was a great display of how they played all year they scored 2 goals before halftime and were in control. Right on 3/4 time Burleigh got one back to make a contest out of it but the Lab ladies found the net again to put the result beyond doubt 3-1.
A great team performance in hot conditions with Taylor Garside winning player of the final.

Congratulations to our U12 Lab Gold who ended the 2026 season with a shared premiership with a 4-4 draw against Burleigh. Labrador was down 4-2 at three quarter time, scoring two goals in the fourth quarter. The teams then went into two rounds of golden goal with no goals scored. Impressive effort team! (Please note a few members are missing from the team photo as they had to race to the U14's Cup Final held straight afterwards).

Huge congratulations to our Lab Gold U14 boys on winning their grand final last Saturday and Watson on being named player of the final. They were up against Burleigh who has provided tough competition throughout the season. The LHC boys also finished the season as minor premiers and were undefeated. Beyond the results, it's been great to see how much this group has grown, both in their hockey and as teammates. Well done team, a season to be proud of.
