The Spit, Main Beach

Great for Walking running, swimming, sandcastles, picnics, sunbathing, surfing, sailing, standup paddle and there is fished to be fished by rod and reel! . This is absolutely a beautiful stretch of crystal blue water and white sands all the way to from the Seaway on the Spit (Northern end end) to Surfers Paradise (Southern End),

We have a first class and generously wide pathway system “Oceanway” that you can walk, Scooter, or Cycle along. The pathway surface changes from Concrete to a natural sand track at the Seaworld Carpark end, as it moves through Federation Walk which is a scenic route to the Seaway along “The Spit” to the Seaway. The Seaway is the Gold Coast’s access to the Broadwater and canal system, which is a grand kaleidoscope of water activity both on top of the water and below.

The Beach is very well supported by ‘Tedder Village’ an enclave of cafes, restaurants, bars and more which is nestled in the centre of Main Beach just a few hundred metres off the water line...
