🏇 A busy Saturday of racing ahead!

We have four runners stepping out across three tracks, beginning at Albury with Regor in Race 1.

At Rosehill, Revengeance and Lafite will both contest the Listed Race 5—a terrific opportunity for the boys to add some valuable black type to their records.

Barbray also lines up in Race 5 at Eagle Farm.

🐎 A BIG DAY AHEAD FOR G1G COLTS 🐎

Tomorrow, we are incredibly grateful to have seven of our colts and geldings racing across three tracks—from our exciting young two-year-old graduates beginning their journeys, right through to our Group 1 performer Encap.

What an amazing opportunity to have runners competing in Listed, Group 3, Group 2 and Group 1 races all on the same day.

Every horse is at a different stage of their journey, but each one gives us something to look forward to. Racing always brings its challenges, surprises and possibilities—but days like tomorrow remind us how fortunate we are to be part of it.

Good luck to all our horses, trainers, jockeys, stable teams and connections. No matter the results, we are proud and grateful to see them out there representing G1G Colts. 💙

Zoustar gelding Lafite powers away to break his maiden in great style under Sam Clipperton.

Lafite was purchased from Widden at Inglis Easter for our partnership with TFI

He’s much improved this preparation as a gelding and has a good future🥇

🏇 A BIG SATURDAY FOR G1G COLTS! 🏇

We have eight runners across three race meetings tomorrow, including three runners contesting Group races at Rosehill Gardens! 🔥

🌹 ROSEHILL GARDENS

Zou Force – Race 2
Drawn nicely in barrier 5 with Tim Clark aboard. He should get his opportunity from a good position.

Ruination – Race 5
A very appealing setup with only 54kg and barrier 2. Jason Collett should be able to give him an economical run—definitely one of our exciting chances.

Campione D’Italia & Berzelius – Race 8, Group 1
Two G1G Colts runners taking their place at the highest level! From barriers 7 and 8, both should have room to find their rhythm. It is a tough Group 1 contest, but having two runners gives us double the excitement and possibility!

Encap – Race 9, Group 2
Barrier 10 presents a challenge, but the light weight of 53kg is a real advantage. If Rachel King can find the right position and get cover, Encap has the talent to make his presence felt.

🏇 KEMBLA GRANGE

Lafite – Race 1
Barrier 2 with Sam Clipperton is an excellent draw. He should receive a lovely run close to the speed and be given every opportunity.

Pulsator – Race 2
The inside draw in barrier 1 could be a big advantage. With a clean beginning, Pulsator should enjoy an economical trip throughout.

🏇 TOOWOOMBA

Barbray – Race 2
Another perfect inside draw in barrier 1 and carrying only 53.5kg. If he handles the track and gets clear running room at the right time, he can be very competitive.

It is never easy to win, especially at Group level, but several of our runners have favourable barriers and weights. We are proud to see so many G1G Colts graduates competing across the country—and we wish every horse, owner, trainer, jockey and stable team the very best of luck! 🍀🏆

🏇 EXCITING DAY FOR G1G COLTS!

Tomorrow marks the first official 2YO trials for some of our G1G Colts — and the beginning of what we hope will be some very exciting racing careers. 🤞🐎

To put into perspective just how special it is to get a young horse to this stage:

🇦🇺 Australia’s 2024 Thoroughbred foal crop was 11,691 live foals.

Nature produces almost an exact 50/50 split between colts and fillies. A large Australian Thoroughbred study recorded 49.95% colts and 50.05% fillies.

But being born is only the beginning. Research following Australian Thoroughbreds found that around 64% eventually made at least one race start, while only about 14% had their first race start as 2YOs. For horses that went through premier yearling sales, about 84% eventually raced.

That makes tomorrow pretty exciting for us. ❤️
