I forgot to mention that DD3 bought the mk3 double ski moulds from Stealth Surfcraft a few years ago , a very successful craft that has won 3 Aussie titles and numerous state titles over the years , and they continue to be manufactured in Australia.

The purpose of this post is to try and explain the differences between various used stealth single surfskis folks may be looking to buy , there were 10 different models made between late 2005 and mid 2018 , the early Mk1 , Mk2, and Mk3 types were made in very small numbers and are unlikely to be around any more , The Mk4 was a high volume ski (for over 85 kg paddlers) made around 2007 that could not have venturi drains fitted to it , it was superceded by the Mk4b which was the same Hull but had lower footwells (better paddling position) and Venturi drains (if ordered) , the Mk5 was a very popular lower volume ski for sub 85 kg paddlers , after that came the slightly straighter hull Mk6 (low seat with an adjustable leg length cockpit), straighter hull fixed length Mk7, straighter hull fixed length Mk8 and lastly the even straighter again hull Mk9, the even numbered 4, 6 and 8 we're all high volume skis for heavy paddlers and the 5 , 7 and 9 were for lighter paddlers *design changes took the Mk9 up to 90kg however *
