🇦🇺 Off to the World Championships! 🇦🇺
Everyone at CCPC would like to wish our talented juniors Riley Scott and Anderson Flick all the very best as they travel to Halifax to represent Australia at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships.
Making an Australian team is an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment both boys have shown on and off the water. We couldn't be prouder to see them wearing the green and gold on the world stage.
We know you'll do your club, your families and your country proud.
Safe travels, paddle hard, and enjoy every moment of this amazing experience.
Go Riley, Go Anderson, and Go Australia! 🇦🇺🛶
From all your friends at CCPC. 💙💛🛶

Great to see such strong support shown by the BrisSup Group who travelled down to the coast on the weekend to participate in the Currumbin Capers.

Janet Buchanan from the Club said: "There was a great SUP turnout with 15 BrisSUP paddlers at the Currumbin Capers friendly race day today. 5km & 10km distances. Well done guys! Sunny day after all the rain, but a pesky headwind tested the paddlers. Thanks Currumbin Creek Paddlers Club for organizing the event."

It's support like this that enables Clubs to put on events and races.
So bravo to the BrisSup Group for making the trip down, and we hope to see plenty of support in a few weeks for the upcoming Moreton Bay Ocean Paddle being run by Paddling Club

A few of our members travelled down to compete in the Paddle Australia Canoe Marathon Championships which were held in Canberra on the Molonglo River and hosted by the Burley Griffin Canoe Club.
The weather was certainly a lot cooler than the Gold Coast.

We hope our members realise how proud we are of them regardless of whether they ended up on the podium or not.
To have our members compete, enjoy the sporting vibes and camaraderie still with a smile was fantastic.
