It is a pleasure to introduce you to one of the newest members of our faculty.
Jason Fuchs combines technical excellence with a strong commitment to safe, strength-based training and artistic development.
With extensive experience as both a coach and adjudicator, Jason brings industry knowledge and attention to technical precision along with a genuine passion for dance that resonates deeply with every student he works with.

Hey SDA Peeps!
Information Sessions are today and tomorrow from 4.30pm - 5.30pm. This is where we come together. These afternoons are a time to discuss classes, important dates, meet our teachers, discuss 2026 in vision and detail. Please read the handbook sent out and bring your signed back page.

Our Story
Stage Door Academy operates from ‘The Well’ 58 Highland Way, Upper Coomera, providing classes in all genres of dance and performing arts. Our studio caters from 18 months to Adult.
Stage Door Academy endeavours to provide quality dance training in a warm and friendly environment. Through passion and spirit we deliver technique based training towards the pursuit of excellence. We are committed to nurturing and developing our students minds, bodies and hearts through creativity and discipline; preparing them for the experience of life.
They will acquire confidence and self-esteem giving them a distinct advantage in life. Classes will be structured as well as creative allowing each student to explore his/her endless boundaries. Private tuition is also available. Exams will be given in the classical discipline but are not compulsory.
Director & Owner Tracee Jensen is accredited under the British Ballet Organisation Syllabus and holds a Bachelor of Arts; and Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management. Tracee also has 25 years experience in performance arts and made many appearances in theatre, television, musical comedies, plays and travelling productions.
Tracee’s amazing team comprises of national and internationally trained teachers: classical ballet, hip-hop, jazz, tap, acrobatics, contemporary, lyrical, drama, film and musical theatre. Our team endeavours to provide quality tuition in a dedicated and caring way that is adaptable to all individual and cultural differences and progressive to the nature of each child.
