From 3rd–5th October 2026, crews will take to the waters off the Gold Coast for three days of racing over the King’s Birthday Long Weekend.

And there’s even more on the line this year, with Sail Paradise hosting the 2026 Australian Yachting Championships.

From 16–22 August, Hamilton Island Race Week returns for another huge week of racing in the Whitsundays, and we’ll be seeing plenty of familiar names on the start line.

After 520 nautical miles, changing conditions and days at sea, each crew crossed the finish line with plenty to celebrate.

💜👨‍✈️👷 HARBOUR MASTER AWARD:

Craig Longmuir – Regional Harbour Master Mackay awarded the Harbour Master Award for 2026 to the crew of Marine Rescue Vessel 10 ; Mr Peter Mackedie Skipper, Crew Members Ian Slattery, Mark Senyard, Ross Schulte and Thomas Clancy. These amazing hero endured outrageous conditions assisting KERB and its crew to bring them to safety into Mackay Harbour.
