If playing college golf in the United States is something your child has considered — whether it’s a current goal or simply an option you’d like to understand better — this is a great opportunity to learn how the pathway actually works.

The evening will be presented by Will Clarkson, Manager at Platform Sports Management, who has more than 10 years’ experience helping student-athletes access university opportunities in the U.S. and UK.

What you’ll learn

The presentation will cover:

* How the U.S. college golf recruitment system works
* The different scholarship opportunities available
* What college coaches and universities are looking for
* How golf performance and academics work together
* When players should start the recruitment process
* NCAA, NAIA and JUCO pathways
* Real examples of athletes who have successfully taken the college pathway
* What players can start doing now to prepare

This session is particularly valuable for high-school-aged golfers and their parents, but we’d also encourage younger families who are starting to think about the longer-term pathway to attend.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and speak with Will about your individual situation.
