After 16hrs of driving we finally arrived at where Patrol Base Wahab was suppose to be. I was exhausted.
The T****** who were escorting me had hooked me up to an IV bag in the back seat after I nearly passed out from four days of intense diarrhoea and no food.
The map said PB Wahab was just ahead. The T****** asked a local man for directions and he jumped inside our car.
We went off road and climbed a rocky hill and a few minutes later we arrived at a small flat piece of arid land.
Nothing was left but piles of dirt that had been dumped from the sandbag walls.
They unhooked my IV and I went for a dizzying walk to the centre of the Patrol Base.
I sat down, looked around and couldn’t believe I actually fu***ng made it. I pulled out my camera and started recording.
