I see years of anger, guilt and shame work for things we did in our past leading to IDGAF energy at a festival in Greece living our best lives because nothings holding us back anymore, and guess what…

Everyone has dark parts of their past. Shadows they would rather not look at. Shame guilt or anger repressed and stored in the body.

It’s hard to look at and embarrassing to admit but the truth is something happened in your life and you haven’t looked at it deep enough. It’s sitting there like a dark shadow.

You think you’re alone in it but you’re not. Everyone’s done stupid s**t or hurt people or experienced something terrible. We just show our good side because that’s how we survive in the jungle.

The problem is your shadow weighs you down like a heavy bag, sometimes without you knowing. Sometimes you forget it’s even there but you feel exhausted for “no reason” or get angry at “nothing”.

The truth is your shadow is quietly running your life from the back seat. Facing it feels like death but on the other side is liberation.

Whatever you did, or didn’t do, or saw, or felt… i’ve seen it all. The only way up is first down into the shadow.

The world needs strong capable men with compassionate hearts not blokes that get upset when their coffee order is wrong.

5 days ago I stood in Nabatieh (النبطية) one of Southern Lebanon’s oldest towns, with Ali (my guide) and sadly the town has been decimated. 90% of buildings are gone including Ali’s childhood home and all his belongings, 4,000 people across the south have been killed by Israel including Ali’s family and friends.

Strikes continue regardless of a ceasefire. Fields are sprayed with poison and hundred year olive trees are burned to ensure it is uninhabitable and no life returns.
White Phosphorus is shot over homes (war crime) and armed drones encircle the town daily to ensure people live in constant fear.

Ali guided me safely through the south so I could bring awareness to what is happening and now Ali needs our help.

Ali has lost everything and work is scarce. His family struggle to get by.
