Spartan Gold Coast was a whole lot of fun and a few of our pink army landed on the podium!
Thanks for all the vibes on the weekend, this was a nice return to form for a Spartan event on the Gold Coast with the best run festival I’ve seen in years!
Congratulations to every single athlete who got out there, with a special mention to our OMR podium finishers and the few of you who were out there battling niggles.

RESULTS TIME!
Shoutout to OMR client Stace Yz for not only coming across the line first last Sunday at Raw Challenge Gold Coast, but also smashing her last fit test!
Here's some of the numbers from Stacie's test, compared against her results 8 weeks ago;
2.4km run - 15.26 to 13.42 🔥
2 min max front squats - 17 reps to 28 reps 🔥
2 min max TRX Row - 28 reps to 41 reps 🔥
2 min max KB Deadlifts - 20 reps to 32 reps 🔥
2 min max knee push ups - 24 reps to 51 reps 🔥
2 min max hanging knee raises - 25 reps to 61 reps 🔥
These are huge gains for an 8 week period and show what can be achieved with the right plan, the right support and the right desire to change!
Stace was the first client I put onto my brand new training model including a new training app and she proved to me that I got the balance right with the plan
I'm really excited to see where we can take Stacie this year now that she is in such a good training groove, let me know if you're looking to make some changes yourself!

As part of our new client programming, our members have a new daily habit every week to perform, usually taking a few minutes each day.
This week they are planning their day each morning!
I have been doing this for years and it’s super powerful, every now and again I stop doing it and the wheels fall off everything pretty fast!

The Backyard Ultra is underway and our team are a few laps in braving the Victorian heat!
This is a killer format, 6.71km loops (they call each lap a yard) on the hour every hour until you can’t run anymore.
The running loops are easy to create an event made to test your mental fortitude.
We are really excited to see how our super athletes go this weekend, helped along with our super pit crew and .gore.ultrarunner 🤘🏼

I got out to shoot some at Main Beach this morning while I teach myself how to use a DSLR in manual.
I thought this might be a good way to learn, while the photos I’m taking go back to the community that has helped me so much over the years.
