LOOKING FOR A NEW WORKSHOP!
Howdy folks! Due to an unexpected move, I am urgently looking for a new work space that I can use for my bicycle repair business. After 3 years of working from home I need an offsite workshop.
I’m looking for: An affordable work space that has power and water, good light and easy access.
Size: 50-80 square metres.
Location: Preferably Tugun, Currumbin, or Palm Beach.
I have good references and have been a professional bike mechanic for over 25 years with 18 years self employed.
If you know anyone that can help, even in the short term that would be appreciated. I have a young family and need to keep the business working with minimum upheaval.

For years I've been servicing the suspension other operators don't want to touch. I've serviced brands you've probably never heard of. I've just done a full rebuild of the Suntour Tri-Air2. One of their high end shocks, and a very decent piece of equipment.

Just a little friendly reminder about dropper post servicing. If your dropper is getting slow, and has a grey residue coming out of the seal onto the shaft, then it's well overdue for a service. It probably looks something like the first picture inside, and hopefully, not yet like the second picture. If it stops instead of pops, give me a call and book it in.

Spent Saturday afternoon doing some overhauling on the race bike of my latest sponsored rider . A promising young lad who is as keen as he is skilled. Looking forward to helping Alex take a few top steps on the podium this year.....and beyond. Then, Sunday was some Enduro practise with Alex, , their fellow team mates, along with their super supportive dad's. Muddiest ride I've done in a looong time. So good to support some grass roots riders.

I started working in the bike industry in early 2000. I worked at a shop selling Giant, and that year I sold dozens of these. This year marks 25 years for me as a bike mechanic, and seeing this bike was a great moment of pause and reflection to appreciate that. I'm grateful for every year in this exciting industry, and I'm never bored of it.
