Child’s Pose… to rest and centre, bringing awareness within. Also a great counter pose to practice after back bending. Practice with knees together or take the wide knee variation if it is more comfortable for you.
Benefits include:
🔅Stretching: Child’s pose gently stretches your spine, thighs, hips, and ankles.
🔅Relaxation: Along with deep breathing exercises, child’s pose can calm your mind, reducing anxiety and fatigue.
🔅Blood circulation: Child’s pose can increase blood circulation to your head.
🔅Digestion: The light compression on your stomach in this pose can activate digestion.
🔅Tension relief: Child’s pose can release tension in your lower back muscles, chest, hamstrings, and shoulders.

“I align my awareness to the intelligence and power of the universe so that all my thoughts and actions have greatest effectiveness and efficiency.”
The Law of Least Effort
This spiritual law can be thought of as the principle of allowing. No more struggling against the situation or circumstances that we find ourselves in. When we have total acceptance of the moment we can then come up with a creative response on what to do. Give up your need to struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. In each situation good or bad, there is a seed of opportunity. It is important to see and accept this.

I am absolute existence. I am a field of all possibilities. 🙏🏼
This week we begin our journey of 7 Spiritual Laws.
1. The law of pure potentiality.
When you discover your true nature and know who you really are, the closer you are to the field of pure potentiality and to fulfilling any dream you have. Everything is possible ✨

Why do we do Cat /Cow as part of our warm up in almost every class? 🐱🐮
Because it has so many benefits:
The alternating spinal flexion and extension action are great to improve lower back mobility, improve posture and balance, strengthen, stretch the spine and neck, stretch the hips, abdomen and back.
By marrying the movement with the breath, the pose increases coordination and fosters intentional focus. It is also associated with increased emotional balance and stability of the mind.

Zac has a message. He’s only 10months and he can’t talk yet. So he wrote it on his shirt instead.
Equality. Love. Peace. Friendship. Unity. Humanity. Kindness. 🙏🏼🌈☀️

Sometimes we need to let go of our attachment to the result, or end goal. Be fully immersed in the process or task at hand. If you’re going to do something do it properly, with effort and heart and attention. This will help bring a sense of enjoyment and achievement regardless of the outcome. It also allows us to have our eyes more open and to be more willing to make changes and adjustments if necessary.
You can practise this the next time you are on your mat. But this is not only for your asana practise, use this philosophy in your everyday life as well. Be more present, more open, more flexible, less attached. Enjoy the journey... 🙏🏼🕉
