While you are learning to dance it is a good idea to wear flat comfy shoes that do not have a tread on them. Bring a towel, change of shirt and deodorant (if you need)

STEP, STEP, STEP, STEP… JUST KEEP MOVING!

Did you know Lindy Hop is essentially a series of ONE STEPS?

We might count in 6s and 8s, but break it down and it’s simply STEP, STEP, STEP… and DON’T STOP! 🙌

Last night we explored continuous flow, working on over-rotation for our follows, keeping those turns going until a new lead is introduced. Less stop-start, more FLOW! ✨

Here’s a little Skater’s Hold move we played with, exploring how to switch your frame ON and OFF in response to the lead.

💛 Thanks to everyone who came out! We might all be a little weary after an EPIC Byron Bay Lindy Exchange, but that post-BBLX buzz was still in the air!

DAY 1 - Beach Picnic –
Welcome to BBLX 2026!

Well… the weather had other plans for us! 🌧️😂
But what a lovely, relaxed way to kick off BBLX 2026!

Good food, drinks, music, vintage shopping and plenty of catching up with old friends and making new ones! 🥂🎶❤️

A little rain wasn’t going to stop us from having fun😏😛
