🚨 MASSIVE WEEKEND FOR THE SHARKIES 🚨

It all kicks off TONIGHT under the lights, as our International age U15s defend home turf. Fast, physical, and fired up — this is how we start the round.

Then Saturday… it’s a full takeover at the SHARK TANK 🦈
Our home becomes a fortress as we host the majority of our teams. Sideline noise, club colours everywhere, and that Sharkies energy rolling from the first whistle to the last.

And we’re not done yet…

Sunday brings the future of our club to the field with our Under 7s stepping into their first Tackle Ready session at Robina — big moments for our little legends 💪

PLUS our DMC head to Currumbin for a battle that’s guaranteed to test grit, pride, and determination.

This is what it’s all about — learning new skills, building confidence, backing your mates and having an absolute blast doing it.

Every run, every tackle, every smile… it’s all part of the journey as our Sharkies grow together.

Please check your team’s game times and fields on the draw, arrive early, and get the kids ready to go — pumped, proud, and ready to give it a crack!

Let’s pack the sidelines and bring the noise for our future Sharks. Your support means everything as these young legends take the field and keep improving every single game.

PLEASE REFER TO YOUR COACH / MANAGER FOR TEAM SPECIFIC UPDATES

Training is open to teams who still wish to train - ON FIELD 2 ONLY.

We are a close knit family here down at the Shark Tank and are asking all of our Sharkies community to work together to facilitate the field limitations. It will be a lot of Sharkies in a tight space, so let’s stay positive and communicate to one another.

🙋‍♀️ Got a Knack for Organising People? Be Our Volunteer Co-Ordinator in 2026 🫶

If you’ve ever said, “I’ll sort the roster” — this role is made for you.

Parkwood Sharks is looking for a Volunteer Co-Ordinator to lead the charge in 2026 — our 50th Jubilee Year — by building, supporting, and celebrating the incredible volunteer crew that keeps our club thriving.

You’ll be at the heart of the club — from rostering to recognition, Blue Cards to BBQ shifts — ensuring every hand raised has the support it needs to succeed.

🙌 What You’ll Do:
✅Recruit and roster volunteers for all key roles: canteen, bar, game day, events & more
✅Manage Blue Card compliance and volunteer registration
✅Lead onboarding, training, and development for new volunteers
✅Help create a positive, inclusive volunteer culture
✅Celebrate our volunteers and keep them coming back season after season

⏱ Time Commitment:
Approx. 12–15 hrs/week (increases pre-season and during home games)

✅ You Bring:
✨Confidence working with people and systems
✨Strong organisational skills
✨A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)
✨A passion for bringing people together
