Kangaroo Valley being our first competition in 16 months came with mixed results however we still came home with a couple 🏆
3rd place in steak on saturday and 3rd place in beef ribs with calls for 9th place Chicken, & 7th place brisket.
There's some people that really helped us this weekend for supplying meat and being just a great fantastic bloke to chat with.
thanks for everything including advice when on the verge of a crisis. Great to see you take out GC for the weekend. Congrats!

for all the great rubs and sauces. That brisket and beef ribs combo was pretty awesome, and of course,
for the loan of the VH16 Bunk van. Don't think I'll ever want to do another comp without it. With the weather being 30c during the day and getting to 5c at night, we were spoilt with AC, gas heating, and full shower and toilet facilities. Not to mention the outdoor kitchen which was amazing to use for comp preparation, and the king sized bed to sleep off the large hangover. What a great weekend. Thanks to you all. ✌️

Got 3rd place steak at Kangaroo Valley Bbq Comp. I wasn't feeling confident with this one, however for once the judges not agreeing with me worked in my favour.
