Get ready for some serious fun! We’re bringing back the modified rules, fast-paced games, and friendly competition. It’s all about participation, learning the game, and having an absolute blast poolside.

Congratulations to Gold Coast Water Polo Life Member Janet Rayner, a member of the 1986 World Championship gold medal-winning team and Gold Coast Water Polo player Jo Clark, a member of the Sydney 2000 Olympic gold medal-winning team, and, on their induction into the Water Polo Australia Hall of Fame on Monday night.

This honour not only recognises their outstanding achievements in the pool but also the lasting legacy they have created for our sport and our club. Jo and Janet, along with their teammates, played pivotal roles in shaping women's water polo in Australia, inspiring generations of athletes and paving the way for future Gold Coast Water Polo players 💙💛

🏐 Brisbane Metro Junior Competition (BMJC) EOIs are NOW OPEN! 🏐

Gold Coast Water Polo is now calling for Expressions of Interest for players wanting to compete in the 2026–27 Brisbane Metro Junior Competition.

📅 Competition: Saturdays throughout Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027
📍 Venues: Multiple locations across Brisbane
💧 Approximately 20 games across the season.

GCWP will be entering teams across the junior age groups and, where required, will form composite teams with Warriors Water Polo.

Expected Age Divisions:
🔹 U12 (Born 2015–2019)
🔹 U13 (Born 2014–2017)
🔹 U14 (Born 2013–2016)
🔹 U15 (Born 2012–2015)
🔹 U16 (Born 2011–2014)
🔹 U17 (Born 2010–2013)
🔹 U18 (Born 2009–2012)

Players are eligible to play in up to two age divisions, with exemptions to play in three divisions available in some cases.
