Most aren’t willing to really look in the mirror.

It’s ugly.

Uncomfortable.

Painful.

But if we want things to change, this is where it starts.

We often point the finger.

My partner.
My business.
The economy.
The state of the world.

What I’ve noticed is that when I stop looking outward and look within, I come face to face with the uncomfortable truth of my own heart.

The pain.

The loneliness.

The grief.

The parts of me I’d rather avoid.

And as I meet those parts, the way I meet the world changes.

Things don’t trigger me in the same way.

My results stop dictating my worth.

I stop handing my peace over to what’s happening around me.

That doesn’t mean life gets easier.

In some ways, it gets harder.

It’s easier to numb.

To avoid.

To stay busy.

To pretend everything’s fine.

It’s hard to take responsibility for how you meet what you feel.

Not blame.

Responsibility.

Other people’s behaviour is theirs.

What happens inside me and what I choose to do with it, is mine to meet.

And over time, something starts to shift.

A deeper peace.

A deeper trust.

A knowing that whatever is happening, I’ve got me.

I can hold myself through what unfolds.

And that is prosperity too.

Not a life where nothing hurts.

But a deeper capacity to remain with yourself when it does.

I’ve seen again and again, in my own life and with clients, that the things we most want to avoid are often the doorway to greater richness.

What if the thing you keep avoiding is the exact thing that could change your life?

I used to be terrified of speaking.

So instead of avoiding it, I leaned in.

More reps. More discomfort. More confidence.

Now I love it.

Confidence doesn’t always come first.

You earn it by moving towards the thing that scares the crap out of you.

This is what my office looks like half the time...

An ironing board, and futon lounge in a someone's closet.

And I've built successful businesses, done hundreds of sales calls, and coached thousands of people from places like this...

I share this, as many people think they need all their ducks in a row to be successful.

I was a full time entrepreneur for at least 10 years before I even had a website.

Sure a desk, with a sick we**am and sound gear would be nice, and I do have a good set up at home but I'm a nomad.

We like to hit the road, explore, go on adventures, stay with family, and my business gets built and serviced on the road.

The bells and whistles are nice, but the core of your offer is YOU.

If you are there, fully present, in your heart, BEING then everything else is secondary.

Don't wait till everything is perfect, grab your sh*tty laptop or phone and start doing the thing.
