Meet our 'Best Player' for the AFL U16 National Championships: Peter Lavong
So what's the 'Best Player' meant to do right to get this recognition? Well, most people think that representative footy carnivals are just about players doing what they do well, if not better. But the truth is, the entire program, both on and off the field pairs up players with the opportunity (not available anywhere else) to train, play, develop your skills and attitude at a higher level, under pressure.
So, its not just about rising to the challenge... its about embracing it whole-heartedly with everything you have and letting your staff and team support you to reach a new level...
Some are ready, but others take their time and soon find that the opportunity has passed by and the tournament has ended.
Across all three games, Peter Lavong consistently demonstrated the best effort and attitude towards developing his AFL skills and we thank him for his contribution to the team and tournament.
Game 3 today: Looking forward to a great contest from the Boomerangs and the opportunity to develop our new skills under pressure. Afterall, that's what we're here for!
Blessings and thanks to everyone at home for this opportunity...
