Southern Stars Calisthenics We encourage the children to always try their best & develop a good work ethic that will serve them well with their dancing & in life WHAT IS CALISTHENICS ?

Calisthenics is a competitive performing art featuring elements of rhythmic gymnastics and ballet combined with a strong emphasis on theatricality (both musical and dramatic), costume, dance and musical interpretation. The art form was created entirely in Australia and can be easily differentiated from traditional calisthenics by its focus on competition and theatrical performance instead of simple synchronized exercise.

We had lots of fun this weekend with the whole club finale practice for our end of year concert. 26 years of Southern Stars Dance was celebrated with party food and yummy cake. We also enjoyed some games with our buddies and doing our own choreography.
