WE NEED YOUR HELP! The paid preview screenings of our movie DANGER CLOSE: The Battle of Long Tan this weekend at Cinemas like Dendy https://www.dendy.com.au/events/danger-close-preview-screening on Sunday and our opening week's box office beginning August 8, are crucial for the success of our film. In fact it will determine how many screens our film continues to play on over the initial weeks.

There are only so many screens available and usually the big Hollywood films take up the lion's share and there are some big films coming up. Cinemas are businesses and they will give the most screens to the films with the most demand.

DANGER CLOSE will be opening on 220+ screens across Australia and if the film does well, more screens will be added by the cinemas; both independent and the major chains.

We need your help to spread the word and ask as many people as possible to see our film, and to see it early in this first week if possible.

It took us 15 years to get this great movie made. We made it for the Vietnam Veterans and their families and for you, the audience. Unlike most other films you may see, our film is an entirely independent Australian film, and it is an Australian film with a scale and quality not seen for many decades. It is such an important ANZAC story and a huge amount of love, sweat, blood, tears and personal sacrifices have gone into making it.

If our film is successful it will help immortalise an entire generation of Vietnam Veterans and in turn recognise and honour their service and sacrifice. Our success will also help ensure that other important Australian stories will continue to be made in the future.

Please helps us spread the word!

Thank you on behalf of our cast, crew, Director, Writer, Producers and supporters.

Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan is in Australian cinemas August 8.

Trailer - https://www.facebook.com/battleoflongtan/videos/2200254463344162/

18 August 1966, in a Vietnamese rubber plantation called Long Tan, 108 young and mostly inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers are fighting for their lives against more than 2000 North Vietnamese and Viet Cong soldiers.
