Jagger is still very young, and the work shown here is very light, age-appropriate groundwork and long-reining.

With cold-blooded and larger breeds, we like to introduce these things early and gradually, while they are still small enough for our trainers to handle comfortably. The aim is not to work them hard, but to establish good habits, confidence and basic education before they become very large and powerful horses.

The same applies to handling and teaching them to pick up and give their feet. It is much safer and easier for our trainers to establish these foundations while they are young, rather than waiting until they are 700–800kg and considerably stronger.

Everything Jagger has done so far has been very light, progressive and focused on education rather than fitness or workload. ❤️

It is with a very heavy heart that we offer our beautiful Jagger for sale.

Jagger is a purebred Percheron gelding, born 2 August 2025, and registered with the Percheron Horse Breeders Association of Australia.

He has been lovingly handled by us for the past 6 months, including groundwork and long-reining. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and has an exceptionally beautiful temperament.

Jagger has been part of our GCEC family and we have put a lot of time, patience and work into him. He has been raised with care and given the best possible start.

Unfortunately, he is growing into a very big boy, and we have made the difficult decision that he will simply become too big for our riding school.

This is a very sad sale for us. ❤️

We are looking for a very special, loving home where Jagger will be appreciated for the wonderful horse he is and allowed to continue developing at his own pace.

He deserves an amazing home and a family who will love him as much as we do.
