🏏 School is back, and so is representative cricket! 💚💛

Congratulations to our young Hawks who have been selected to represent South Coast at the upcoming School Sport Queensland State Championships in September.

⭐ Harper Abbott has been selected in the 12 Years Girls team, with the championships to be held on the Sunshine Coast.

⭐ Shayan Ahmed and Jackson Willis have both been selected in the 12 Years Boys team, with the championships to be held in Ipswich.

We're also incredibly proud to see one of our junior coaches and the club's reigning Best Club Person, Jack Whitton, selected as Assistant Coach of the South Coast 12 Years Boys team.

Congratulations to Harper, Shayan, Jackson and Jack on this fantastic achievement. We wish you all the very best as you represent South Coast and the Hawks with pride! 💚💛🦅

🏏 It was a huge school holiday period for some of our young Hawks! 💚💛

A couple of weeks ago, we shared that a number of our junior players were heading away to compete at the Indoor Cricket National Championships.

We are incredibly excited to report that they returned with an outstanding list of achievements, including National Champions, Player of the Tournament awards, Australian Merit Team selections, and even Australian Indoor World Cup selections!

👏 Bree Chapman was named Under 14 Girls Player of the Tournament and earned selection in the Australian Merit Team.

👏 Joshua Geldenhuys captained Queensland to the Under 14 Boys semi-finals and was selected to represent Australia.

👏 Lane Chapman was named Under 16 Boys Player of the Tournament, helped Queensland claim the National Championship, and was rewarded with selection to represent Australia.

👏 Aidan Steinhardt was a member of the Queensland Under 18 Boys team that were crowned National Champions.

A huge congratulations also goes to all of our other junior Hawks who represented Queensland with distinction and produced exceptional performances throughout the championships.

We are incredibly proud of every one of our young Hawks and can't wait to welcome you all back to the club. The future is looking very bright! 💚💛🦅
