It’s worth noting that this is not total coffee production, but relates to Arabica which is what is used in specialty coffee.
Our fav at the moment - Kenyan coffees - ist makes the list! Surprising to see china on the list, didn’t know that China is big in coffee production.
What’s your fav origin of coffee?

Yesterday mornings session was run with a great couple from the Isle of Capri. I must say it’s not often you get to run a training session with someone whilst running out their back deck to watch the planes fly by for the Gold Coast AirShow. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning. And let me tell you those pilots are crazy!
Anyway back to the coffee. The equipment we were working with was a LaMazzoco Mini Linea and a brand new Eureka Mignon Libra. It was my first time using this grinder and I can say I was impressed. What’s great about this grinder is that it has very little grind retention and delivers a consistent grind particle size. But the best feature is that it automatically weighs each dose. And it’s super consistent! Really streamlining the process for making coffee at home. It’s now high on the list of grinders to buy.
We spent some time tweaking the clients process a little. Mainly through sharing insight into why we would grind our coffee finer or coarser depending on our extraction time in relation to the dose.
It didn’t lake long before we had moved from very watery, under-extracted coffee to a more balanced, sweet and full-bodied espresso.
Another great session. Another household in SEQ that’s now drinking better coffee. And we even managed to squeeze in some golf chats as well. A job well done.
Hit us up if you need help refining your process at home.
