Not every raceday ends in the winner’s stall, but every raceday reminds us how much work goes on behind the scenes! 🏇

Yesterday saw the team make the trip south to Grafton, and while we didn’t quite come home with the result we were chasing, we’re incredibly proud of the effort from our horses and grateful for the dedication of our staff who put in another long day on the road 🫶🏻

It was fantastic to see Statement Of Truth return to the winner’s circle on Tuesday with a tough, front-running victory at Beaudesert under a perfectly judged ride from Danny Peisley.

With the race lacking speed, Danny took bad luck out of the equation, rolling to the front where Statement Of Truth travelled beautifully before digging deep to hold his rivals at bay and score a well-deserved win.

After an encouraging second at his previous start, it was great to see him go one better and get the reward his consistency deserved.

Our Better Than Ready x True Icon gelding has now completed his second preparation, and we’re thrilled with the progress he’s made.

From the moment we purchased him at , we believed he had all the ingredients to develop into a lovely racehorse. Since then, he’s continued to justify that belief, taking every stage of his education in his stride and growing in both confidence and maturity with each campaign.

Now, after another successful preparation, he’s enjoying a well-earned spell before returning to continue building towards the exciting milestones ahead.

It’s a privilege to watch these young horses develop from yearlings into racehorses, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for this exciting gelding.
