We've been working behind the scenes on something pretty special. A complete online surf training system designed to help you understand your surfing, make real progress and have a whole lot more fun in the water.

Coach Jarrad’s take: don’t rush through the mini mal stage.

Mid-lengths and mini mals give you time to feel the wave, build better timing and understand what your board is doing under your feet.

They are not just a “step before a shortboard.” They can be one of the best tools for progression.

So before you size down too quickly, maybe enjoy this stage a little longer.
