Small change huge improvement.

Last night Boosted RC Drift , RE-Xtreme RC and I went to The Goat Track Rc Drift Gold Coast YAGI drift track on the GC for a skid sesh.

I had not powered up My cars for nearly three months due to.... Life.

Very very pleased to see the night before that Simon of Yagi had made a small change to one corner and it made a huge difference to the flow of the track. So big props there!! It was a. Tighter 120 degree corner after a kink entry and it could Cause a bit of a back up. Opening it up and making a more open smooth radius to connect the next to make one long sweeper after the link is NIIICCCEEE.

We sat and chatted and drifted for near three hours together then the boys had to go and I sat and drifted and chatting with Simon. Always good to get to know someone better... Even tho we known each other since 2016

All in All An awesome 4 hours. Thank you all. Keen for another session Ina few weeks... Not months.

Cars update.
I changed the front knuckles in the RDX 2.5s months ago and this was first drive with them.
Eye balled Ackerman/toe settings and hell ye. Awesome awesome improvement. I got the alli multi select knuckles with 2mm off set and the Akira top plate. Really happy with the small Ackerman difference they make over standard. More stable and likes workers nicer with the gyro.. With no setting change.
The rdx is definitely the "go too it just works" chassis from my collection. It Loves angle. Can run shallow. Can run slower. Can run fast. Superb. Granted not Much standard left on it but Hey. It's a lovely chassis. I ran it with OG and absolutely star body the AboMoon R32. Can't believe this body was painted for me by Rus back in 2016. Amazing.

GRK4/5 UK works . For so Long I struggled to get any speed out of it. Was just slow out of corners no matter what I changed. I asked in every group. Every ai assistant and nothing worked. I changed settings, active toes, springs from Soft to hard and was getting annoiyed. Last time out I chucked in brand new Barrel springs. Can't remember the model but they are long not the shorts. And it fricken works incredibly well. It made all the difference with no ride height change. No shock change. I can't understand why the barrels worked when I tried every firm spring I have. But the best bit is the stunning Active CarbonR R32 body Jay painted for me. It's simply stunning. Can't wait for my 180 next project next.

Speaking of bodies. I ran the lil Dlike LP86/RMX with my other new body. White 2 door 86 coupe. Soo fresh first time on track. Love it. No photos on the night.. Ooops.
Huge thanks again to Jay for painting it for me your are an absolute master. The negative.. One of the rear wheels seems out of round.. The non suspension on lp makes the wheels shudder on the track. So must have a flat sport where the high traction soft wheels have sat on the shelf so long.

Didn't run the beautiful "old" RSG DRB REW. Ran out of time.
But she was there. No photos tho

We are happy to announce we now have more Drifting hours at YAGI RC DRIFT as of now jackie will be running the Drift track and shop for all your drift kit’s wheels ect. And drifting the following hours
Monday closed
Tuesday closed
Wednesday 12pm to 5pm
Thursday 12 pm to 5pm
Friday late night drifting 12 pm to 10pm
Saturday 10am to 3 pm
Sunday closed

We hope this helps people wanting to drift
With more track opening hour’s , hire cars will be available during these hours for new people wanting to try Rc drifting just call ahead so we can have batteries ready to go 55947900 👍

I have been a huge fan of HPI RC cars for 20 plus years. I still have fast trucks that have wheelied crashed and thrashed since 2006.

Of course HPI have had "drift cars" for years.. But nothing like the new one.
This looks like they have taken all the best design ideas from today's most popular mainstream chassis and made it Ready To Run and accessible to All.
And second to that the RTR Mustang bodies look absolutely incredible.

I'm excited to see one and try one.

How amazing are good freinds.

So over the moon happy with these two beautifully painted body shells by Boosted Drift.

Jays attention to detail is just amazing. I just throw paint at them and hope it sticks. Jay is so meticulous with the masking it shows.

The Shibata Carbon R 32 GTR us absolutely stunning. Just love it. But have not jet managed to capture the colour on camera well. Deep Candy red just doesn't show well.

I've been running the orange Hachi since 2017, it was painted in 2016 by Scotty. Super cool to have the fresh white trueno coupe to run on the LPRMX86. Man I love this 3 door. Notch back shape.

Had a three Hour session at the The Goat Track Rc Drift Gold Coast YAGI drift this evening with RE-Xtreme RC Rus.

Was a quiet track but made for a heap of awesome fun-Ness. Rus and I running crazy lines and follow the leader hours just like old times.

Was the Track Debut for my new Shibata CarbonR R32 GTR on my GRK in stunning candy red painted for me by Boosted RC Drift . Absolutely over the moon with it. Jay knocked it out the park. Couldn't be happier.
Lights are in but not wired. Needs a Bit more low and I'm stoked!!!!
