Senpai Athol got the juniors going today at Greenstone Karate with Karate UNO! it’s his sneaky way of getting them to do more pushups, sit ups & squats! WOW he’s always up to something when he teaches Karate…😜😵🥋🦾

Seeing photos this week of primary school kids celebrating Book Week with my book, Kyle the Karate Koala…is something really special. Some of the kids are even going to Book Week dressed in their karate uniforms, as Kyle the Karate Koala, or as their own little Karate Kid!🥋🐨

As a new author, teaching karate and someone who has spent most of my life teaching children, seeing this honestly means more to me than I can put into words.

I feel incredibly blessed that Kyle the Karate Koala has been so well received and continues to be loved by kids and families. Becoming a #1 Amazon Bestseller was an incredible achievement…but seeing the book in the hands and hearts of children is the greatest achievement of all.❤️

Because that’s what Kyle’s story is really about. The biggest lessons Karate can teach us:

So happy and grateful to know that my book, Kyle the Karate Koala is on its way to a school in Grafton, New South Wales!

It makes me incredibly happy knowing that this little book is still reaching children, parents and schools and hopefully making a positive difference along the way.

When I wrote Kyle’s story, the goal was always bigger than just Karate it was about helping children build confidence, courage, resilience, kindness and belief in themselves.🥋🐨📕
