Sessions will be every second Sunday or thereabouts depending on my schedule.

✨ J U M P S T A R Z ✨ Cooper, Noah and Toby. Yeah the boys!

I have been working with Cooper one on one for about a year and a half on his coordination and general strength. Today, Cooper came to athletics training with the Jumpstarz squad for the very first time. It was an exciting time for everyone as I knew the kids were really looking Forward to meeting Cooper and vice Versa. Coop did high jump, long jump and running and although whilst running down the straight saying “ * #@$ these kids are fast” 🤣 he did amazing.
One thing that Coop asked me today was “what’s the world record for long jump.” In which I replied “around 9 meteres.” Coop’s response was “I think I can get that.” And he had full, 100% confidence that he would break the world record, in today’s training session. It really made me think and I guess the saying does ring true “the only limitations we have are the ones that we place on ourselves.”
Now look, we know that coop most likely will not be breaking the long jump world record any time soon but hey, there’s no harm in trying right?!
I know all of my little athletes benefited from having Coop’s words of advice and positive outlook in the session today. And I think we can all learn a lesson from this awesome kid.
Moral of the story:
✨DON’T LIMIT YOURSELF✨ it’s the self confidence for me!

This is my first ever athlete when I started Jumpstarz in 2017. She was 8 years old and super annoying. She’s still annoying but I wouldn’t change her for the world. 🤪 And not to mention, how good is that technique?! 🌟
