Hey everyone and welcome to Griffith University Panthers RLFC season 2021!

Firstly welcome back to all returning players and a big welcome to everyone new! We would like to thank everyone for overcoming the challenges of last year and let’s look forward to a season of rugby league!

This year we are looking for four new members or uni students to take over as president, Vice President, Secretary and treasurer.

Our AGM is schedule for Friday the 19th of February at 4pm. There are a few options for it. We can do it over a group video call or in person at University.

*PRESEASON UPDATE*

Preseason will be starting on the 24th of February (Monday of week 1)!

Things to know: Training will be at the field in the middle of the athletics track on campus. Commencing at 5PM and running until 7PM.

Things to bring: Boots, towel, water bottle.

I will add some more individual stats later in the coming week, but massive shout out to Cody Feltham for becoming the Panthers overall leading point-scorer in the 9 year history of the club!! 👍🏆🥇

In 36 games, Cody has scored 8 tries and booted 65 goals for a haul of 162 points so far. Cody moved ahead of former winger and coach, Matthew Beaton, who compiled 11 tries, 39 goals for 122 points in only 22 games!

That's a wrap to our first game of the second half of the season. Unfortunately our game was cut short due to injuries on both teams. Hope all players have a quick recovery! We would also like to thank all of our spectators for coming down and watching

Good afternoon everyone,

If you’ve caught up with us over the Summer or at O-week sign up days you would have been waiting to hear announcements regarding training.

We are eager to get underway and tomorrow at 5.30PM down at Owen Park in Southport we will hold our first session.

Get down and have a run, can’t wait to see all the new faces and catch up with the old ones.

A big thanks to Southport Tigers Rugby League for again giving us a place to play some footy in 2019.

Congratulations to the new era of Panthers, starting the season off strong with a 22-12 victory over ACU in the annual ANZAC Day triple header at Griffith Nathan this afternoon.

Next week the boys are at home, taking on the Griffith Logan Redbacks. We would love to see a big crowd down at Owen Park next Wednesday night as we aim to make it two from two for season 2018!
